To become a member, to renew your membership, or to give a membership as a gift, please click the highlighted level of membership to begin the process.

Annual Memberships

Student

One year of benefits for one student, 22 or younger with student ID.
$20     Student membership

Individual

One year of benefits for one person. 
$50     Individual membership

Household

One year of benefits for two adults and four children or grandchildren, 18 or younger. 
$75     Household membership

Organization

One year of benefits for organization’s primary contact. 
$50     Organization membership

Sustaining

One year of benefits at the household level, plus a listing in the annual contributor roll and a complimentary set of Indiana Historical Society notecards.

Storytellers Circle Memberships

Benefactor

Receives all benefits of the Sustaining member plus an invitation to the exclusive Living Legends Gala, invitations to select Storytellers Circle events and day trips, and free or discounted admission to many programs and activities, including special exhibits, demonstrations, lectures and presentations.
$250     Benefactor membership

History Patron

Receives all benefits of the Benefactor level plus an invitation to join the members of the Council of 1816 – our most prestigious donor club – for one special event each year; invitation to an intimate, behind-the-scenes tour of our Collections, Conservation Lab and Indiana Experience exhibits; and two complimentary visitor passes.

Council of 1816

Receives all benefits of the History Patron level plus invitations to special events for Council members and an additional four complimentary visitor passes.

President's Circle

Receives all core Council benefits plus two household gift memberships, two complimentary guest tickets to the Annual Founders Day Dinner, a complimentary half-table for one evening at Concerts on the Canal, and invitation for two to the President's Circle Spring Brunch hosted at Twin Oaks by IHS President and CEO John Herbst.
$2,500     President's Circle membership

Chairman's Circle

Receives all core Council benefits plus four household gift memberships, a complimentary table for eight at the Annual Founders Day Dinner, a complimentary full table for one evening at Concerts on the Canal and a private dinner for two with IHS President and CEO John Herbst at Twin Oaks arranged at a mutually convenient time.
$5,000     Chairman's Circle membership

Founders' Circle

Members of the prestigious Founders' Circle receive core Council benefits plus six household gift memberships; a complimentary table for eight at one Anything Goes concert and at one evening at Concerts on the Canal, both hosted by IHS President and CEO John Herbst; a complimentary patron table for eight at the annual Living Legends Gala and a private dinner for eight hosted by John Herbst at Twin Oaks arranged at a mutually convenient time.
