History Day Workshops

Teacher Workshops

2012 fall workshop dates are TBD.

Classroom Workshops

Scheduled by contacting the NHDI office, a History Day staffer will visit your classroom to introduce the program for you and your students, discuss research or project ideas or work in small groups with your students. Classroom programs are tailored to fit the needs of your classroom and address your particular questions and ideas. To schedule a classroom visit, contact the NHDI office.

Library Nights

NHDI staffers visit local public libraries after school and in the evenings to assist students with research and project needs. Whether students are brainstorming for ideas or putting finishing touches on exhibits, History Day staffers are available to help students track down primary sources, offer tips for improving research strategies or suggestions for improving projects. Library Nights should be scheduled by a teacher through the NHDI office.

To sign up for or request more information for any of these workshops, email nhdi@indianahistory.org or call (317) 233-9559.
