The Indiana Junior Historical Society’s history clubs participate in exclusive members-only programs and events throughout the school year. Whether visiting an Indiana historic site or producing a podcast about the history of their town, club members experience history in a fun and engaging way.

2012 Scholarship Information

The Indiana Junior Historical Society awarded two $500 scholarships to Switzerland County Junior Historical Society members, Ashley Kirtman and Taryn Parr. Congratulations ladies! 

Awards

2012 John H. Holliday Award Information

The John H. Holliday Award, established by The Society of Indiana Pioneers, is given annually to an Indiana Junior Historical Society club. This year, the award was given to the Switzerland County Junior Historical Society, led by Janet Hendricks. This award includes a $300 prize for club activities. Congratulations!
