Indiana Black History Challenge

Challenge Winner!

The grand prize winner of the Indiana Black History Challenge 2013 is Roman Morgan, a fifth grader in Tricia Scheumann's class at Chapel Glen Elementary on the west side of Indianapolis. Roman won four lower-level tickets to an Indiana Pacers game, an overnight stay at the J.W. Marriott, a $50 gift certificate to The Capital Grille, four tickets to the Indiana State Museum, four tickets to The Children's Museum and a household membership to the Indiana Historical Society. Congratulations Roman!

This year the Indiana Black History Challenge focused on Hoosier athletes and offered two tickets to the Indiana Experience for every person who completed the quiz. Thirty runners-up received a family four pack of tickets to an Indianapolis Indians game. The Challenge ran from Jan. 21 through Feb. 28, 2013.
