    Summer on the Canal

Each year, thousands of Hoosiers gather on Canal Plaza, and on the greenway across the Canal, for free entertainment, ranging from classical jazz to classic movies – each with an Indiana tie. This summer’s offerings will again include Concerts on the Canal, Lunchtime Concerts on the Canal and Movies on the Park – don’t miss out on the fun!

Please note:

We are deeply saddened by the loss of jazz legend Jack Gilfoy, a talented musician and devoted jazz educator.

For many years Jack has been a friend and collaborator of the Indiana Historical Society and an influential part of our musical programming.  He has also been an unrelenting advocate for the recognition and preservation of the rich jazz history of Indiana.

His talent, kindness and community involvement will be greatly missed.

Details for the June 12 and June 26 concert dates are pending.
