From the classic elegance of the Eli Lilly Hall with its four-story vaulted ceiling, walnut columns and imported Italian marble floors to the outdoor plaza along the historic Central Canal, the Indiana Historical Society is the ideal year-round location to hold your wedding or social event. The IHS can accommodate parties as large as 250 guests in the Eli Lilly Hall to smaller, more intimate gatherings in the Mary O'Brien Gibson Boardroom.

Beginning with the Eli Lilly Hall's impressive grand staircase for your wedding ceremony procession, you will have a memorable evening in our facility. After the ceremony, move to the Stardust Terrace for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres overlooking the beautiful Central Canal and Canal Walk, then back to the Eli Lilly Hall for dinner and dancing. For your convenience, the IHS offers a dressing room equipped with floor-to-ceiling mirrors to help you look your best for your special day.
	The Stardust Terrace can seat up to 120 and is a wonderful location for evening receptions and dinners. Guests enjoy its unique musical décor and its location just off the Canal Plaza. The Mary O'Brien Gibson Boardroom on the fourth floor offers a beautiful view of downtown and is the perfect intimate location for parties with fewer than 90 people.
