Indiana Black History Challenge Student Participation

In celebration of Black History Month, children and families are invited to learn about Indiana’s African-American history while earning a chance to win great prizes during the Indiana Black History Challenge. Participants investigate Indiana black history facts and answer a series of multiple-choice questions found on the game card. Individuals and organizations featured in this year’s Challenge help participants explore Indiana’s cultural and artistic history.

Sponsored by the Indiana Pacers, the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library
and the Indiana Historical Society
