Preconference

On Thursday, July 18, a variety of workshops in downtown Indianapolis will show you how to get the most out of your library visits, introduce you to using DNA in genealogy, give you a hands-on computer demonstration of Fold3 and Ancestry, and more! These workshops are available a la carte for an additional fee and registering for Friday and/or Saturday is not required.

Expand your skills with specific classes covering African American, Latino, Eastern European, German and American Indian family research. Or get down to basics and explore specific record types covering military records, oral histories, funeral home collections, maps, diseases and asylums, religious archives, case studies and family legends.
