SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The collection consists of Minnie DeVannieck's pocket diary, kept while she was living in Indianapolis, 1901–1902.  Contents of the diary include descriptions of activities, autographs, financial records, and romantic writings.  There is also a handwritten biography of Lona Vestal Shaw of Shelby Township, Jefferson County, Indiana, as well as information regarding historic houses in the area.
