No information was obtainable concerning F. C. Heberhart or any of the individuals mentioned in the collection.
The papers comprise two letters written in German and membership certificate in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. The letters are from an individual named Rublner in Madison (Jefferson County), Indiana, to family in Constance, Switzerland, January 1833, and from an uncle (Heinrich Zollskopen?) in St. Gallen, Switzerland, to his family December, 1835. Heberhart’s lodge membership certificate is in the Monroe Lodge #2, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Madison, March 1901.
