SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The collection primarily consists of school related materials from Ohio and Indiana. Included is a statement regarding school funds in Miami, Hamilton County, Ohio, 1846, a math quiz for Clinton Garrison of North Bend, Ohio, 1889, five scholars record booklets for Clinton, Inez, and Harriet Garrison, North Bend, 1882, 1885, 1888, & 1891, and a monthly grade report for Farmer's College, Ohio, for H. W. Learned., February, 1858. There also is a letter from Wallace Learned, a teacher in Chesterfield, Madison County, Indiana, to his sister and brother in law, Mr. & Mrs. J. D. Garrison, 30 December 1863.
