Harry E. Thompson (b. 1937), living in Indianapolis, was an active member of the Indianapolis Sky Hawks, a branch of a national sky-diving organization, in the years 1961-1965. At different times he was vice president and club safety officer. Over the five years he made at least 111 jumps, mainly from the airports at Lebanon and Franklin, Indiana. Over the years his accuracy improved, distance from target decreasing from hundreds of yards to as little as five feet.

This collection, filling three folders, contains a scrapbook, a logbook, clippings, photographs, and licenses, dating 1961-1965. It is arranged by category.
In Folder 1 is a scrapbook with clippings from Parachutist magazine and elsewhere, photographs of Thompson and sky-diving, licenses, and a club badge.
In Folder 2 is the logbook of jumps made by Thompson, 1961-1965.
In Folder 3 are clippings, and five photographs of a parachute jump.
