No information was found in available sources on Isom T. Vest. References on the obverse of the clipping to Speaker "Uncle Joe" Cannon, to Senator Joseph B. Foraker of Ohio, and to House whip James E. Watson of Indiana, indicate that the date is between 1905 and 1909. The observance takes place in a city where the cemetery is named Greenwood, and where a main intersection is at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
This collection contains one item, an unidentified, undated clipping about a GAR observance. The main item of the clipping is a poem in honor of Civil War veterans, "Their March to Victory," by Isom T. Vest.
