BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Nancy Elston Harrison was married to Nicholas McCarty Harrison, the great grandson of William Henry Harrison. They had two children; Nicholas McCarty Harrison Jr. and Elston Mills Harrison. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Harrison established a scholarship awards fund in his name at Vincennes University in 1946. Nancy Elston was originally from Crawfordsville, Indiana. She died August 1959 in California, where she had lived since the death of her husband.
