This collection contains one item, an 1845 certificate for eighty acres of land purchased from the Commissioners of the Wabash and Erie Canal. The certificate is made out to Anthony Nicholas of Clinton County, and is signed by Governor James Whitcomb and by Secretary of State John H. Thompson.
