 This volume, labelled "Pattern Book November 1905," contains pencilled and inked entries with the numbers and descriptions of patterns for various engine parts.

 An index on the first page gives the following categories:

 Under "Classified Eng. Dept.", parts are listed for a given class of locomotive, e.g.
"9 and 10 class, 1150 to 1200...
200 class, 1300 to 1400..."
