    INDIANA JUNIOR HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Indiana Junior Historical Society (IJrHS) was founded in 1938 with the vision that history is dynamic and exciting to explore. It continues to enhance history education throughout Indiana for students in grades 3 through 12. The IJrHS offers diverse and engaging programs that challenge participants to look at history from many perspectives and to consider Indiana’s role in the nation and the world. History clubs – sponsored by schools, libraries, local historical societies, home-school groups and individuals – promote investigation of Indiana’s rich heritage.

The Indiana Junior Historical Society is sponsored by
Eli Lilly and Company Foundation and the Boren Foundation
