Under ownership by the city, Cincinnati Union Terminal became a shopping mall in the late 1970s but never thrived. Thanks to vision and commitment on the part of the city and its citizens, however, in the 1990s the terminal was once again reborn, this time as the Cincinnati Museum Center. (Jeffrey T. Darbee)
