Stretching east toward downtown Cincinnati from Union Terminal is a large landscaped park, a bit out of place among the industries and freeways of the city’s near west side. The terminal sits on an elevated site at the park’s west end. This view was made from the terminal’s roof in 1972, although the park has since been reconfigured to accommodate a large amount of parking, it still provides an appropriate setting for Union Terminal, the jewel in the Queen City’s crown.
