    INDIANA HISTORY TRAIN :: October 6-29, 2005

Story of the Indiana History Train  History Train home

The Indiana History Train is a program of the Indiana Historical Society. The cars and a portion of the exhibition are provided by The Indiana Rail Road Company. Intercity train movement is provided by Norfolk Southern Corporation. The Faces of Lincoln is sponsored by Chase, and the History Train is made possible in part by a gift from the Lilly Endowment Inc. and a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities: great ideas brought to life. The NEH has designated the Indiana History Train a We the People project as part of a special initiative on American history and culture.

Educational programs made possible with the support of Ruth Lilly.
