Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center
Bring the whole family to the History Center Dec. 26 through 29 and Jan. 2 through 5 as we celebrate the winter season with eight days of fun. We’re transforming Lilly Hall into a gorgeous tree-filled white winter wonderland featuring beautiful handmade star lanterns. Our popular Christmas Story living room is back, allowing you to step right into a movie scene. Put on some bunny suits and pose for a family photo by the infamous leg lamp.
Enjoy family-friendly crafts and activities, face painting and special performances each day from jugglers, magicians, dancers and musicians. Radio Disney is here to entertain the crowd Dec. 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. with games, prizes and music. The Stardust Terrace Café is offering kid-friendly snacks and lunches throughout Winterfest.
Wednesday, Jan. 2
State and regional yo-yo champion Connor Ebbinghouse entertains with yo-yo demonstrations to delight guests young and old. Performances are at 11 a.m., 11:40 a.m., 12:40 p.m., 1:20 p.m., 2 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. (20 minutes)
Thursday, Jan. 3
Metropolitan Youth Orchestra
Middle and high school musicians from the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of Indianapolis play for the Winterfest crowds. The performance begins at 1 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 4
Join White Lick Elementary teacher and Juggling Masters founder Zach Kelley for an afternoon of plate spinning and juggling! Learn how to juggle with lessons at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. (30 minutes)
Saturday, Jan. 5
Magician Ryan Demler
Magician Ryan Demler entertains Winterfest crowds with two exciting shows full on intrigue and wonder! Performances begin at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. (30 minutes)
