Explore Indianapolis’ Jewish history with a behind-the-scenes tour of the former Kahn Tailoring Factory. Henry Kahn’s tailoring empire brought thousands of Sephardic Jewish immigrants from Greece and Macedonia to Indianapolis for work. Hear more about Kahn and the community of immigrants that formed around his factory from IUPUI Anthropology Professor Susan Hyatt. Then, enjoy a tour of this 1913 landmark and see how it was transformed into downtown lofts by TWG Development and Ambrose Property Management.
