Join moderator Barbara Lewis, host of Sound Medicine on WFYI, as she and a panel of experts explore the history of vaccines, recent discoveries and current issues surrounding the development and use of vaccines today. Dr. Richard Feldman, director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Frances and former Indiana State Health Commission, will give opening remarks on the history of vaccines. Panel conversationalist include Dr. Joan Duwve, chief medical officer for the Indiana State Department of Health; Dr. Charlene Graves, pediatrician and former medical director for the Department of Health’s Immunization Program; and Dr. Marcia Shew, who served as an investigator for the HPV vaccine trials.
