Guedelhoefer Company Workers Outside of Factory

Born in Germany in 1832 and trained as a carriage maker, John Guedelhoefer immigrated to Indianapolis in 1869. In 1873 he opened a wagon factory. Three generations of Guedelhoefers made wagons and trucks for Indianapolis’s most prominent businesses.
