Indiana Historical Society to auction Audubon sets

With unanimous consent of its Collections Committee, Executive Committee and Board of Trustees, the Indiana Historical Society (IHS) has decided it will put its complete sets of John James Audubon’s The Birds of America and Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America up for auction by Sotheby’s in April 2014.

IHS Workshops Get Genealogists Started, Set Generational Timelines
June 10, 2013

Summer is a great time to work on gathering and organizing family history, and the Indiana Historical Society (IHS), will offer a two workshops this summer that can help with those efforts—Timelines on June 22 and Start With What You Know on July 27. Both programs will take place throughout the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, located at 450 W. Ohio St. in downtown Indianapolis.
