IHS Announces 2013 Lineup for Concerts on the Canal, Reprise of Popular “Museum Nights on the Canal” Program

There are plenty of ways to enjoy downtown Indianapolis in the summer, and the Indiana Historical Society (IHS) is offering two—both time-honored favorite Concerts on the Canal and its Museum Nights on the Canal program. The Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, home of the IHS and the Indiana Experience, is located at 450 W. Ohio St. in downtown Indianapolis, along the picturesque, historic Central Canal.

IHS Offers Free Admission for 12th Annual Circus Day

The Indiana Historical Society will celebrate its popular 12th Annual Circus Day by offering free admission to the event, as well as the Indiana Experience, on Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, home of the IHS and the Indiana Experience, is located at 450 W. Ohio St. in downtown Indianapolis.

Hornet Little Hoosiers of Rossville Elementary Receive 2011 John H. Holliday Award
May 18, 2011

The annual John H. Holliday Award for 2011 has been given to the Rossville Elementary Indiana Junior Historical Society club, the Hornet Little Hoosiers. The John H. Holliday award was established by the Society of Indiana Pioneers in 1970 to honor its founding President, Mr. Holliday, and is given annually to an Indiana Junior Historical Society club.
