New IHS Exhibit Highlights High School Hoops History

The Indiana Historical Society's (IHS's) new photo exhibit, The Hoosier Hardwood Photo Project: A Journey to Indiana's Historic High School Gyms, features photographs by Michael E. Keating and Chris Smith. The exhibit runs Saturday, Oct. 1 through Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center.

New IHS Exhibit Explores the Life and Legacy of Colonel Eli Lilly
Sept. 21, 2016

IHS's newest exhibit, You Are There: Eli Lilly at the Beginning, runs Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 through Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Ryan White Book Named Gold Winner in Foreward Reviews' INDIEFAB Book of the Year Awards

An Indiana Historical Society (IHS) Press book honoring the legacy of Ryan White has been recognized as a gold winner in the 18th annual Foreward Reviews' INDIEFAB Book of the Year Awards. The Quiet Hero: A Life of Ryan White by Nelson Price was named a gold winner in the Young Adult Nonfiction Category.

IHS to Celebrate Fourth of July with Free Admission, Special Concert on the Canal
June 28, 2016

Normally closed on Mondays, the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on July 4, with free admission to the Indiana Experience. Then from 5 to 9:30 p.m., the Indiana Historical Society (IHS) will offer a special edition of its popular Concerts on the Canal series.
