Items in the collection.
The collection consists of twenty-five photographs of the Indiana Farm Bureau Cooperative Association seed warehouse and processing plant in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Folder 1 contains one photograph of the exterior of the first seed house. The remaining images illustrate warehousing, processing, and laboratory facilities and activities. One photograph shows Robert Rendfeld seated at a desk. A calendar and a price sheet on the desk, though slightly out of focus, appear to be dated December 1947. There is also a group portrait at an unidentified banquet.
Folder 2 contains seven progress photographs of the new plant construction. These were photographed by Williams Studio of Crawfordsville. The numbers on the verso of these photographs begin with “C5607-1,” suggesting the year was 1956. The processor used these numbers to determine the order in which Williams Studio made the construction photographs.
