Brice Williams, Sr. (1875–ca. late 1950s) was a businessman and inventor from Kokomo, in Howard County Indiana. He worked as a printer/typesetter and later as a salesman and a manufacturer who invented the peanut vending machine. Williams married Caroline Emily Hoon (1864–1952) in 1897 and they had three children: Josephine, Brice, Jr. and Kenneth.

The collection, contained in 8 volumes, includes “parts” of genealogical and autobiographical writings, photographs and general material collected by Brice Williams, Sr.; these have been pasted into loosely bound company ledger books.
The first part contains genealogical material regarding the Williams family including those of his wife.
Part two contains Williams’ autobiography “Once a step-child, always a step-child” covering his professional, political and personal life from the 1890s through the 1940s.
Part three contains typed newspaper articles and letters dealing with a variety of subjects, some of which were authored or contained stories about Williams, 1882–1950.
Typed verses and writings by Brice Williams comprise part four. These include poetry, history and childhood reminiscences.
Part five contains original letters, photographs, and printed items regarding Williams’ daughter, Josephine Maude Williams Smith.
The sixth part is made up of original family photographs and other original related items.
Part seven consists of photographs, newspaper clippings, and printed family items, of Kenneth W. Williams, his son and an architect in Kokomo.
Part eight contains photographs and information about the family of Edward Nicholas (1881–1949) a grocery store operator in Kokomo.
